Prize to the "brains" that do not migrate

Innovation can also be done in Italy, even in the new frontiers of the Internet. Despite the chronic lack of funding - even if it turns out that they are 'snubbed' by European funds billion euro - the ideas and no shortage of talent.


To highlight was the stage of Padua Working Capital Tour, the project launched by Telecom Italy to support best business initiatives and research projects as part of Web 2.0.


The meeting was held yesterday in the Department of Information Engineering University of Padua, where they were presented eleven research projects selected from among hundreds submitted by young graduates from all over Italy who have fought five scholarships twenty thousand € with which to develop their ideas for exploring the frontiers of the Internet. How? 
Developing applications for social networking for smart phones, to discover a city in accordance with your taste or to find new proposals are not trivial in music, art or science from a reference.

The prize went to Laura Ferrari (progetto Myp), Diego Giorgini (Università 2.0), Roberta Presta (Bacon), Eugenio Tacchini (Reccomender System) and Luca Vassena (Aware Browser). Menzione per Davide Cavone (Ipa),
while the other finalists were Diego Benna (Polifemo), Francesco Massara (Geo Emozioni), Antonio Moro (Cloud Usb) and Fabio Sacco (Etourism).
